What will happen if I follow my heart? Follow my bliss?
Speaking of craftmanship and handmade things... I am learning to cook better. In 2012, I aspire to be a domestic goddess. That's all. :) So, I spent several hours in the kitchen during the week-end. There is something soothing and peaceful in preparing food. I love it. One blog that inspires me particularly is Luxirare. I tried this particular crab and avocado salad last Sunday. Although I never reached the artful beauty that you can see in these pictures, it was... delicious! No, I did not post any pictures because... well, I am ashamed! :D

I was in Charleston this week-end and while having dinner with my friends, we came across a Ducati, the restaurant chef's prized toy! It was gorgeous. It was also the first time I laid eyes on a Ducati. I am not into motorbikes. But as an eye candy queen, I have to say that some of these machines are real beauties.
I guess that it's reassuring to point out that Steve Jobs, the Genius of our era was a flawed human being. I don't want to use the term, asshole. I also happen to be reading the biography of Coco Chanel and it became apparent to me that just as Steve Jobs changed the world of communications, Coco Chanel changed the way women dress. She liberated us from corsets and tight clothes. She was a fashion genius. But she was also a bitch. Read The Gospel According to Coco Chanel. I therefore wonder if in order to be a genius, the awesome sauce is not the talent itself, but simply the ability to not give a dam of what people feel and think about you!
